Pianist - Vocal Coach

La Monnaie is looking for a pianist to serve as a vocal coach. The audition will take place on November 14 and 15, 2026, at La Monnaie in Brussels. The first round will include pieces from Puccini's 'La Bohème' and Strauss's 'Rosenkavalier,' while the second round will feature selections from Puccini's 'Turandot,' Berg's 'Wozzeck,' and Strauss's 'Salome.' Candidates will also be required to perform sight reading and provide short coaching for a singer. The audition starts at 10 AM, and all participants must arrive by 9:30 AM. If a registered candidate cannot attend, they must inform La Monnaie in advance to avoid future participation issues. The salary for this position ranges from €3,886.92 to €4,917.03 per month, depending on experience, plus additional benefits. Note that La Monnaie does not cover travel or accommodation expenses.
