At Plouvier , we operate a modern fleet of 20 inland tanker vessels sailing across the Rhine and the ports of Antwerp, Rotterdam and Amsterdam.

We are looking for an Dispatcher who enjoys being at the heart of our daily operations. In this role, you are the central point of contact between our vessels, Captains, crew and shore-based organisation. You help keep our fleet moving by coordinating schedules, following up operational matters and responding quickly when plans change.

Your role
As Dispatcher , you coordinate the daily operational flow of our inland tanker fleet. You are closely involved in vessel planning, dispatching and communication with our crew

Your responsibilities include:
Coordinating the day-to-day operations and movements of our vessels
Acting as a central point of contact for Captains and crew
Following up vessel schedules , voyages, loading and unloading operations
Coordinating changes to planning and responding to unexpected operational issues
Monitoring vessel availability and operational progress
Coordinating with chartering, terminals, customers and other operational partners
Following up delays, operational disruptions and other issues and ensuring the right actions are taken
Coordinating practical solutions when problems arise during a voyage
Following up maintenance issues where they impact vessel operations
Escalating technical, safety or operational matters to the appropriate colleagues when required
Keeping operational information and planning up to date in our systems
Supporting smooth communication between vessels and the shore organisation

What we are looking for
We are looking for a maritime professional with strong organisational and communication skills who enjoys coordinating people, vessels and information.
You ideally have:
Experience in inland shipping, tanker shipping or a comparable maritime environment
A good understanding of vessel operations and life onboard
Experience working with Captains, crew or maritime operations
Experience in dispatching, vessel planning, fleet operations or a similar coordinating role is an advantage
A structured and solution-oriented approach
The ability to prioritise and make decisions in a fast-moving environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
A hands-on mentality and a strong sense of ownership
Good command of English , Dutch and German

Experience as a Captain, Superintendent, Dispatcher, Fleet Coordinator or similar maritime professional is highly valued.
