Do you enjoy working with industrial machinery, understanding how equipment works and helping others build their technical confidence?

Our client, an international industrial technology company, is looking for a Technical Trainer to train customers, partners and internal technical teams on specialised industrial machinery and equipment .

This is a hands-on technical role. We are looking for someone who has worked directly with industrial equipment ,for example in field service, maintenance, technical support, applications, commissioning or engineering and who would like to develop further into technical training.
Previous experience as a professional trainer is not essential.

What you will do
You will deliver practical technical training on industrial equipment through a combination of classroom sessions, machine demonstrations, hands-on exercises and digital learning.
Train customers, service technicians, partners and internal technical teams
Demonstrate how industrial equipment operates, is set up and is used correctly
Lead practical, hands-on exercises on machinery
Explain technical concepts, machine functionality and troubleshooting procedures
Create and update technical training materials, presentations and assessments
Adapt technical information to audiences with different levels of experience
Work closely with engineering, service and product teams to keep training content up to date
Track participant progress and maintain training records

What we are looking for
Hands-on experience with industrial machinery or technical equipment is essential for this position.
You may currently be working as a Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer / Technician, Technical Support Engineer, Applications Engineer, Service Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, Technical Trainer or in another hands-on industrial technical role

In addition, you should have:
Practical experience working with, maintaining, troubleshooting, installing or supporting industrial equipment
The ability to understand and explain mechanical, electrical and/or technical concepts clearly
Confidence working directly with machinery and demonstrating equipment to others
Strong communication and presentation skills
Fluent English and Dutch or French would be an advantage
Willingness to travel internationally when required

You do not need to be an experienced professional trainer. Candidates who regularly explain equipment to customers, coach technicians, train colleagues or support machine users are strongly encouraged to apply.

Previous hands-on exposure to industrial machinery or equipment is required.
