About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Real Estate Investment Analyst to join their growing finance team in Welkom . This role is crucial for evaluating potential real estate investment opportunities, conducting financial modeling, and providing strategic recommendations to senior management. You will analyze market data, property financials, and economic trends to assess risk and return profiles for a diverse portfolio within the Free State . The ideal candidate possesses a strong quantitative background, a deep understanding of real estate finance, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely. This position offers significant exposure to high-level investment decisions and the opportunity to shape the company's investment strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth financial analysis and modeling for potential real estate investments , including acquisitions and developments.
• Conduct market research and feasibility studies to identify attractive investment opportunities in the Welkom region and beyond.
• Evaluate the financial performance of existing assets and provide recommendations for asset management strategies.
• Prepare detailed investment reports, presentations, and memos for senior management and investment committees.
• Monitor key economic indicators and real estate market trends impacting investment performance in the Free State .
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and operational teams throughout the investment due diligence and closing process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in real estate investment analysis , financial modeling, or corporate finance.
• Strong proficiency in Excel for financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
• Solid understanding of real estate capital markets, property valuation techniques, and investment risk assessment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Experience with real estate databases and market research tools is highly advantageous.
