Network Architect | Juniper

A hands-on Network Architect role where Juniper and Fortinet meet complex, business-critical infrastructure.

Our partner is an international technology organisation operating critical digital infrastructure. As part of the continued development of their infrastructure environment, they are looking for a Network Architect to join a highly skilled and collaborative technical team.

This is not a purely conceptual architecture role. You will move between architecture, design, implementation and production support , working with modern networking technologies and having a direct impact on the resilience and evolution of the infrastructure.

Your playground? Juniper, Fortinet, BGP, DNS, security and distributed infrastructure.

Network Architect - The Role

• Design and evolve network architectures across complex and distributed production environments, from high-level concepts to low-level technical designs.
• Work hands-on with Juniper networking and Fortinet security technologies , including routing, switching, firewalls and network segmentation.
• Contribute to BGP, DNS/DNSSEC, high-availability and distributed infrastructure , with a strong focus on resilience and security.
• Drive improvements around automation, monitoring and observability , using technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, Python, Prometheus or Grafana.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Architecture and Software Engineering teams, while challenging and validating technical solutions delivered by external partners.
• Maintain architecture documentation, diagrams and technical standards , while supporting troubleshooting, lifecycle management and production environments.
