JOB DESCRIPTION
- ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The client is the autonomous municipal company Client Antwerp / Group City of Antwerp.
- To strengthen the data and digitization team, Client Antwerp is looking for a medior project leader who is responsible for the realization of various ICT projects within a complex organizational CONTEXT
- The project leader takes end-to-end responsibility for one or more projects at the same time and ensures successful delivery within the agreed scope, timing, budget and quality. The projects may include data initiatives and modernisation processes.
- Possible assignments include:
- Migration and modernization processes within the data platform;
- Implementation of new digital solutions;
- Optimization of existing applications and processes;
- Initiatives around data analysis, reporting and data-driven working. THE PROJECT LEADER:
- Draws up project plans and monitors scope, planning, budget, risks and dependencies;
- Coordinates the collaboration between business stakeholders, internal ICT teams and external suppliers;
- Facilitates decision-making and escalates in a timely manner where necessary;
- Provides clear reporting to project and steering groups;
- Actively follows up on actions, risks and issues;
- Supports the business in making choices and achieving the set objectives;
- Works according to the common project management methodologies and contributes to the further professionalization of project operations within Client.
- The project leader reports to the programme manager or client and works together with various internal and external stakeholders within the City of Antwerp Group. SKILLS
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in infrastructure projects or development projects
- Proven experience within complex, multi-stakeholder organizational environments
- Proven experience in the public sector
- Proven experience managing third-party vendors and integration partners
- Proven experience managing multiple projects at once
- Demonstrated knowledge of terminology, organization, roles and processes of the PM methodology (e.g. Prince2, PMBok, ...)
- Proven knowledge of Cognos
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Fabric
- Experience with steering committees, management reporting and decision-making processes
- Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR
- level C2.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Purview or data governance processes
- Demonstrable experience with data, cloud or digitization processes
- Proven experience with Jira
- Have proven experience with project management techniques and tools (risk management, issue management, .
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience with ITIL.
- Demonstrable knowledge of MS Project, MS Office (Powerpoint, Excel).
- Demonstrable knowledge of Planner premium
- Proven knowledge of Power BI
