RoleYou will join a young and international Finance team and report directly to the Finance Manager. Accounts Payable will represent approximately half of your responsibilities. The rest of the role can gradually be shaped around your skills, experience and ambitions.
Your main responsibilities will include:Processing and recording supplier invoices;Monitoring supplier accounts and ensuring the quality of accounting data;Supporting the organisation’s general accounting activities;Ensuring compliance with Belgian accounting and administrative requirements;Guaranteeing that transactions are handled in line with BEGAAP standards;Working closely with external accounting firms and consultants;Gradually supporting VAT returns and year-end closing activities.
ProfileThe exact number of years of experience is less important than your practical knowledge of Belgian accounting.
You have experience in Accounts Payable and/or General Ledger accounting;You have a strong understanding of BEGAAP and Belgian administrative requirements;You are rigorous, autonomous and focused on delivering high-quality work;You enjoy working in a collaborative environment and interacting with different stakeholders;You are comfortable working in English;You also speak French or Dutch.
