Your responsibilities as a Financial Controller :
* Coordinate the monthly closing process and ensure accurate, complete, and reliable financial reporting.
* Support daily finance operations and deliver timely management reporting through Power BI.
* Prepare budgets and forecasts while analysing margins, variances, and financial performance.
* Partner with Business Units to provide financial insights and support business reviews.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain high accounting standards.
* Implement and monitor internal controls to minimise financial risks and improve data quality.
* Coordinate external audits and assist with annual accounts and corporate tax filings.
* Contribute to finance digitalisation projects and continuously improve financial processes.
* Report directly to the Finance Manager.

About you :
* You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
* You have minimum 5 years of experience in a Financial Controller or similar finance role.
* You have solid accounting knowledge combined with strong analytical and reporting skills.
* You are experienced in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial consolidation.
* You are familiar with annual accounts and corporate taxation.
* You have experience with Power BI and advanced Excel skills.
* You work accurately, think analytically, and easily identify financial discrepancies.
* You are proactive, well organised, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
* You communicate effectively and collaborate easily with both internal and external stakeholders.
* You are fluent in Dutch and English.
* You have experience with Microsoft Business Central or other ERP systems (an advantage).
