The MissionReady to bring a large-scale industrial revamp to life?Join a major Seveso upper-tier industrial site in the Liège region currently completing an ambitious revamping project: new buildings and revamped units, covering process equipment ranging from HVAC, power electrics and piping to distillation columns, thermal oil systems, utility networks and automated process lines.
We're looking for a hands-on Project Engineer to lead the commissioning phase on the ground.
Your RoleAs Project Engineer, you'll be on site full-time, working hand in hand with contractors to bring every system safely into operation. Concretely, you will:Run commissioning checklists and protocols across a wide range of equipment (HVAC, sprinkler systems, power electrics, vessels, agitators, pumps, piping, sieving/separation units, distillation, thermal oil heating, utilities, RO systems, chillers, dryers, robotics, pneumatic transport, automation and process control cabinets)Record and document test resultsRaise and track non-conformance reportsSolve problems on the ground, in real timeMonitor progress across all commissioning activitiesSupport start-up testing and assist the client through the transition to operations.

Your Profile
You hold a scientific or engineering background (Bachelor's to Master's, industrial engineer preferred), ideally electromechanicalYou have a first experience in an industrial Seveso-type environment is a strong plusYou are comfortable with automation, instrumentation and electrical systems (Siemens and Schneider environments)You are skilled in reading P&IDs, PFDs and isometric drawingsWith a solid grounding in materials science, fluid dynamics and piping fundamentalsYou are familiar with 3D modeling toolsYou are rigorous, autonomous, analytical, and genuinely flexible — commissioning on site means adapting to changing prioritiesA thoughtful, level-headed person who can step back and keep perspective under pressure.
