Solution Architect (Supply Chain) | Antwerp, Belgium

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with a strong Supply Chain background to join a dynamic IT organization in Antwerp.
In this role, you will act as the link between business and IT, translating business needs into effective and scalable solutions. You will play a key role in projects from initial concept through implementation while contributing to the evolution of the organization's application landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse and translate business requirements into functional IT specifications.
- Design functional solutions and develop conceptual and logical models.
- Assess dependencies between functional and non-functional requirements.
- Define acceptance criteria together with business stakeholders.
- Guide projects from analysis and design through implementation and deployment.
- Prepare, execute and coordinate testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Support stakeholders during testing phases and manage change requests.
- Identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
- Contribute to the future application landscape and standardisation initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with business, IT and project teams.
Required Profile
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role such as Solution Architect, Business Analyst or Functional Analyst.
- Proven experience in Supply Chain (mandatory).
- Strong expertise in:
- Requirements Engineering
- Business Analysis
- Functional Analysis
- Solution Design
- Project Management
- Experience facilitating workshops and managing stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.
- Experience with process modelling and functional documentation.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe or similar).
- Scrum Master or Product Owner certification is considered an advantage.
