Do you want to bring mobile AI vision to the logistics industry?

Do you want to take prospects and customers by the hand, from the first conversation all the way to onboarding?

Then this is something for you.

We do not sell with a pitch. We listen to our prospects, discuss the interesting use cases that Flux covers, configure the platform, and let them try it in their operations.

About Optioryx

We build software that makes logistics work faster and more efficient.

Flux is our AI vision mobile data gathering app. Point a phone at a box, a label, a pallet or a document, and Flux reads it, measures it, counts it or checks it.

Dimensioning is one module. So are multi-barcode scanning, pulling text off a label or a document, photo capture, classification, counting, weighing, signatures, checklists and location tracking. The interesting part of this job is that the same tool solves completely different problems depending on how you put it together, and working out which setup a customer actually needs is your call to make.

Our software runs in 28 countries, from Mexico to Australia. Big 3PLs, transport companies and e-commerce industry. We are doubling our customer base every year. We are an enthusiastic team in Ghent, and you own Flux from the first conversation to a customer who is live.

What you will do

Our free trial promises three things: a 30-minute demo, we build your first flow with you, and you try it on your own items. You are the person who delivers all three.

You do the whole job, start to finish:

1.Pick up new inbound leads. Work out what problem they actually have, and whether we can solve it.

2.Show them what Flux does with their boxes, pallets, documents, labels and their way of working

3.Build a working flow for them. Flux needs no coding, so you do this, not a developer.

4.Get them testing it themselves. Watch what they do, find where it does not fit, fix it.

5.When it clearly works, agree what they need and what it costs, and close it.

6.Get them live and stay in touch. Most customers start with one flow, and expand ones they understand the power of the platform.

Deals here take weeks, not months.

Find people worth talking to

Inbound alone will not fill your week. Part of the job is going out and finding companies with a problem we can solve. And after a few months, work out how we reach them. By then you will have had enough of these conversations to know which use cases land, and what words customers use for their own problems. That is when this gets interesting: deciding which companies to go after, whether cold email or ads works better for them, and above all finetuning the message.

Tell product what customers need

You will hear the same question three times before anyone else notices. Write it down, take it to the product owner, follow it up.

The conversations you will be having

One tool that solves many different problems. Within a few months you will know them better than we do.

  • Carrier surcharges. A shipper gets hit with dimension corrections because the dimensions on the bill of lading are wrong. A static dimensioner would fix it, but that is 30,000 to 70,000 dollars and two months of installation.
  • Item master data. A distributor has no reliable SKU dimensions or weights, so slotting, cartonization and shipping quotes are all guesswork.
  • Reading documents. Somebody retypes order data out of email attachments all day. Flux reads the attachment instead.
  • Cargo inspection. A 3PL keeps losing damage claims because nobody photographed the condition on arrival.
  • Compliance. A warehouse manager wants 5S audits done on the floor rather than on a clipboard.
  • Returns. Turning a paper returns checklist into a shareable, auditable record.
  • Counting. Stock counts where the count and the photo evidence arrive together.

Who we are looking for

Maybe you have one or two behind you, maybe you just finished studying. What you have done matters less than how you think and how passionate you are.

You are clever. We need some “Gezond boerenverstand”. You try to reason about the interesting use cases from the perspective of the prospect.

You like data. Comfortable in excel, and you can look at a customer's process and quickly see improvement points. You do not need to code. You do need to enjoy building something yourself

You can explain things. You can tell a logistics director what the numbers. You talk about their problem, not necessarily about our features. In Dutch and English. French is nice to have.

You speak in use cases, not sales talk. Our customers are logistics people. They can tel
