JOB DESCRIPTION - ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- We are looking for an experienced OT Solution Architect with a broad background in OT. The candidate combines sufficient technical depth to understand a complex OT environment with the ability to structure it at the architectural level
- The OT Solution Architect does not need to be an in-depth specialist in every technology domain. However, the candidate must be able to recognize technical dependencies and risks and determine when specialist expertise is needed.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:
- Extensive experience within OT contexts;
- Experience with historically grown existing OT landscapes;
- Experience in analyzing and structuring existing OT architectures;
- Ability to recognize technical dependencies and risks in the event of calamities;
- Ability to translate technical information into clear architectural diagrams in ArchiMate®;
- Experience with complex environments in which documentation is incomplete, outdated or not completely reliable;
- Good communication skills and experience in collecting and validating information from various technical stakeholders;
- The ability to distinguish between technical detail and information actually needed to be able to act effectively in the event of an emergency.
SKILLS
- Demonstrable experience as a specialist architect in a specific domain (networking, security, server infrastructure, application architecture, ERP, ECM platforms, Datawarehouse and BI, ...) or Enterprise Architect
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Modelling Techniques (Archimate, Togaf, UML, Sparx EA)
- Experience with complex environments in which documentation is incomplete, outdated, or not completely reliable
- Experience in analyzing and structuring existing OT architectures
- Good communication skills and experience in gathering and validating information from various technical stakeholders
- The ability to distinguish between technical detail and information that is actually needed to be able to act effectively in the event of an emergency
- Extensive experience within OT contexts
- Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR - level C2.
- Ability to recognize technical dependencies and risks in the event of calamities
- Ability to translate technical information into clear architecture schematics in ArchiMate®Demonstrable knowledge and experience of business processes in general
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of the various Project Management facets (costs, timing, coordination, planning, estimates)
- Demonstrable knowledge of all domains plus proven specialist architect in at least 1 specialist domain (infrastructure, application, security, data, process...)
- Experience in the utilities sector
- Experience with historically grown existing OT landscapes
