Our client is an international software vendor, present in many countries, whose insurance division develops a modular solution covering the entire insurance value chain: distribution, policy management, claims and accounting.
What makes it stand out? A human-sized Belgian team, backed by an international organisation and by product and development teams of several thousand people.
Business Analyst - The Company
The Belgian market is a strategic priority for the group, which already counts major clients there and is actively investing in it. Contracts are signed for long periods, often around ten years.
With a growing project portfolio, the company intends to double its team of analysts over the coming year and is looking for several Business Analysts specialised in insurance.
- Analyse the gap between the client’s processes and the standard product, then identify the required configurations or customisations.
- Work on one or more modules depending on your specialisation: group life, individual life, non-life, and potentially claims or finance.
Business Analyst - The Role
- Carry out the gap analysis between the client’s processes and the standard functionalities of the solution.
- Identify and formalise the configurations and customisations to be implemented.
- Ensure the day-to-day link between the client’s business stakeholders and the product and development teams.
Business Analyst - The Profile
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Business - Engineering or Computer Science
- Around 5 years of business experience, with the ability to become operational quickly, without extensive training.
- English is essential for working with the international teams, complemented by French or Dutch depending on the client.
Business Analyst - The Offer
- Permanent contract.
- Salary negotiated individually, at market level, based on your skills and experience up to 80.000 €
- Company Car + Fuel Card or Mobility Budget
- Insurances (Health)
- Hybrid and flexible setup, agreed with the client: as a guideline, one day a week at the client’s site, one day at the office and three days from home.
- Work on long-term projects, backed by client contracts signed for around ten years.
