pWe are seeking a senior Java development professional to join our team. The role involves leading a development team, designing and building Java-based applications, and driving agile practices. /p h3Key responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, develop, and maintain Java/J2EE applications and Spring Boot services. /li liLead and coach a development team, fostering best practices and continuous improvement. /li liArchitect and implement RESTful APIs integrating with databases such as DB2 and PostgreSQL. /li liApply Agile methodology throughout the software development lifecycle. /li liCollaborate with cross‑functional teams using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo). /li liEnsure code quality through testing, debugging, and code reviews. /li /ul h3Required qualifications /h3 ul liMinimum 5 years of professional Java development experience. /li liProven experience leading and coaching development teams. /li liStrong expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and REST API development. /li liHands‑on experience with DB2, PostgreSQL, SQL, React, and Typescript. /li liDemonstrated ability to work in Agile environments. /li liFluency in Dutch at CEFR level C2. /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liExperience with Atlassian tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Bamboo. /li liFamiliarity with Helm charts and container orchestration. /li liBackground in developing geographic data applications. /li liExperience within the public sector or Flemish Government projects. /li /ul
