Let’s light up the future together /b /ph3Job Description /h3pCurrently, we are looking for a bGroupPricing Manager /b in Brussels, Belgium who will be in charge of developing, implementing, and governing pricing strategies that improve margins and drive profitable growth across the Schréder group. This role balances strategic pricing design with hands-on execution. /ppYou willreport to the Group CFO. /ph3What you will do /h3pbStrategic pricing capabilities /b /pulliDevelop and implement a company-wide pricing strategy aligned with growth and profitability objectives : segmentation, value positioning, discount architecture, and clear rules for exceptions. /liliDefine and maintain the Group price architecture, including list price logic, transfer price logic, local mark-up principles, price corridors, floor prices, and minimum margin rules by product family, market and deal type. /liliAct as the central pricing lead, defining the pricing strategy, standards, and operating cadence while enabling execution through local pricing representatives. /liliEnsure pricing strategies are adapted to local market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and customer segments in partnership with regional and local teams. /liliComfortable balancing value-based logic with pragmatic execution (commercial reality, tender dynamics, channel differences, and competitive pressure) /liliProvide pricing guidance for strategic tenders and large project opportunities, including margin scenarios, risk assessments, and escalation recommendations. /liliBuild and animate a community of local pricing owners across subsidiaries, ensuring regular sharing of pricing performance, market feedback, best practices and adoption challenges. /liliMonitor competitor pricing and positioning across regions in cooperation with the Business Segment Managers /liliSupport new product or service launches with pricing recommendations /liliTrain Sales and Commercial teams on pricing tools, logic, and negotiation. /li /ulpbAnalytical and tool-driven profile /b /pulliStrong analytics baseline: margin waterfall, pocket price, mix/volume effects, elasticity/sensitivity where available, and KPI design. /liliAble to Identify and quantify margin leakage across the pricing waterfall, including discounting, rebates, special conditions, cost changes, freight, small orders, options and non-standard exceptions. /liliLeverage BI and pricing analytics tools to monitor pricing performance, identify trends, and support fact-based decision-making. /li /ulpbGovernance and process leadership /b /pulliDefine and maintain pricing governance frameworks, including delegation and approval matrices, pricing calendars, and escalation processes. /liliOwn pricing KPIs: margin and price realization /liliAct as the business owner of pricing governance: delegation and approval matrix, deal guidance, pricing calendar, and auditability of price moves and exceptions. /liliPartner with Finance on margin targets, forecasting, and profitability analysis. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3pAt Schréder, entrepreneurship and a growth mindset are essential. It's not just about who you are but who you want to become with us. /ph3Skills Requested /h3ulliSenior Pricing Manager (10+) with experience in professional businesses (B2B and/or B2G environment) with a clear mandate to improve margin, price governance and discipline across the Group. Preferably having experience withboth products and services. /liliProven ability to influence and drive change without formal authority in a multi-country, matrix organization. /liliFluent in BI and data tooling (e.g., Power BI / Excel at minimum) and capable of partnering with IT/data teams to industrialize dashboards, price monitoring, and reporting. /liliExperience with CPQ or pricing software /liliExecutive-level communication skills, with the ability to present pricing performance and strategic trade-offs to the CFO and Executive Committee (ExCom), driving fact-based decision-making. /liliDemonstrated ability to drive adoption and change by creating simple, scalable frameworks for non-pricing specialists, supported by playbooks, training programs, and governance routines. /liliHigh integrity and backbone (can say “no” to non-compliant requests), paired w
