Solution / Data Architect

ppAn experienced Solution Architect / Data Architect is sought to play a key role in the evolution of a major organization's digital and data landscape. /p pYou will contribute to the design and evolution of strategic digital and data platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, and business objectives. You will work closely with product teams, subject matter experts, solution architects, system architects, and business stakeholders to define scalable, future-proof solutions that support the organization's strategic ambitions and data-centric transformation. /p pThe data platform vision is based on Data Mesh principles, including domain ownership, data as a product, and federated governance. The platform provides data services to internal customers and enables the creation of domain-oriented data products. /p h3As a Solution/Data Architect, you will: /h3 ul liSteer architecture activities within strategic platform initiatives (business to technology). /li liProvide architectural guidance to product management and delivery teams. /li liCollaborate with product teams to define solutions aligned with enterprise architectural principles. /li liEnsure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, technology, security, and governance standards. /li liDesign solutions while taking integration, application, and data capabilities into account. /li liSupport Data Product Teams in defining information domains and data products. /li liContribute to the definition of Transversal Data Models (TDM) and Canonical Data Models (CDM). /li liDrive Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to validate architectural decisions and technology choices. /li liSupport product teams and engineers in designing robust and scalable solutions. /li liFacilitate alignment between business needs and technology solutions to achieve strategic objectives. /li liContribute to the definition of best practices, methodologies, standards, principles, and architecture and data governance. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 h3Experience Expertise /h3 ul liMinimum of six years of experience in a Solution Architect and/or Data Architect role. /li liStrong experience with data integration architectures across cloud and on-premises environments. /li liDeep understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns, API-based integrations, and event-driven systems. /li liStrong experience with data modelling, including conceptual, logical, and canonical data models. /li liExperience with messaging solutions and event-driven architectures. /li liExperience with metadata management, data catalogues, and governance platforms is considered an asset. /li liExperience with Master Data Management, Big Data, Data Lakes, or Data Mesh architectures is considered a plus. /li liExperience with Collibra Data Catalog is considered a plus. /li liExperience with SAP, S/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, and related technologies. /li /ul h3Architecture Methodologies /h3 ul liExperience with IT architecture frameworks and standards (for example TOGAF, ArchiMate and ATAM). /li liFamiliarity with architecture modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect is considered an advantage. /li liGood understanding of: /li liDomain-Driven Design (DDD) /li /ul h3Soft Skills Mindset /h3 ul liAutonomous and results-driven. /li liStrong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills. /li liAgile mindset with a continuous improvement approach. /li liExcellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills. /li liPassion for learning, knowledge sharing, and embracing change. /li liA good command of bDutch and/or French, combined with English /b. /li /ul h3What makes this mission attractive? /h3 ul liA challenging project within the energy sector, offering the opportunity to contribute to innovative initiatives that support the energy transition. /li liExposure to cutting-edge technologies and strategic transformation programmes. /li liA strong focus on employee well-being and a positive working environment. /li liThe opportunity to join an experienced, diverse, and collaborative team with a strong culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. /li /ul /p
