Help companies use their data in a compliant, secure and organised way. /p h3What a day as a Senior Privacy Consultant looks like /h3 ul liDevelop and oversee comprehensive privacy programs for clients /li liProvide expert, customized advice based on decisions of Belgian SA and regulatory updates /li liGuide clients in embedding privacy by design/default principles into their processes /li liReview and adapt client data processing activities to ensure compliance /li liConduct thorough privacy scans/audits and update roadmaps for continuous improvement /li liDraft high-quality documents tailored for different stakeholders, from management to C-level /li liAct as the lead for data breach incidents and promote awareness /li liIdentify opportunities to enhance client services and outcomes /li liMaintain strong communication with regulatory bodies and represent CRANIUM with professionalism /li /ul h3Key responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop and maintain privacy roadmaps and strategies /li liProvide tailored regulatory advice and guidance based on legal developments /li liConduct and adapt DPIAs/TIAs as necessary /li liMap data flows and establish data governance procedures /li liDeliver privacy training and awareness initiatives /li liOversee third-party vendor assessments and enforce DPA compliance /li liLead incident response management for data breaches and develop response plans /li liCreate comprehensive documentation and reports, ensuring GDPR accountability /li liCollaborate effectively with various stakeholders and departments /li liMentor and support less experienced colleagues /li liManage complex projects and ensure timely delivery /li /ul h3Who you are /h3 ul liYou’re passionate about digital law and excited about keeping up with emerging trends and technologies /li liA creative problem-solver who thrives on finding innovative solutions /li liSociable, communicative, and a team player /li liEager to learn and develop new skills continuously /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster’s or Bachelor’s degree in Law, Information Security, Data Science, or Criminology /li li4-6 years of relevant experience in data protection /li liDPO Certificate /li liIdeally CIPP/E certified (not mandatory) /li liStrong knowledge of GDPR, Belgian data privacy laws, and relevant global standards/laws /li liKnowledge of ISO 27001, 27701 is highly desirable /li liFluency in Dutch and English is required.
