ICT Business Analyst (Medior)

Brussels, Belgium Start Date: 15 June 2026 Contract Type: Consultant / Freelance Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Office presence required on Mondays and Thursdays, remote work available on other days) Position Overview We are seeking a skilled ICT Business Analyst (Medior) to support the analysis, optimization, and documentation of business processes within a technology-driven environment. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, translate requirements into functional solutions, and contribute to the successful delivery of ICT projects. This role requires a strong combination of business process analysis, stakeholder engagement, functional analysis, and project coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications. Document existing and future-state business processes. Develop and optimize business processes using BPM methodologies. Gather, analyze, and validate business and functional requirements. Create and maintain user stories and supporting documentation. Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams. Support project planning, coordination, estimation, and monitoring activities. Participate in workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and stakeholder meetings. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization. Ensure clear documentation and traceability of requirements and solutions. Required Skills & Experience Essential Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in general business management or business analysis within an ICT environment. Proven experience with business and functional analysis. Experience using analysis methodologies and modeling techniques such as: UML BPMN Minimum 2 years of experience documenting business processes. Minimum 2 years of experience writing User Stories. Experience developing and optimizing business processes (BPM). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Dutch language proficiency at CEFR Level C2 (mandatory). Preferred Qualifications Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable: Educational sector and/or EdTech environments. Figma. Jira and/or Confluence. Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions. Stakeholder management. Project management principles, including: Cost management Planning and scheduling Coordination Estimation techniques Project monitoring Personal Profile Strong analytical and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Detail-oriented with a structured approach to documentation. Comfortable engaging with both business and technical stakeholders. Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
