ph3Overview /h3pWe are seeking a HPC/Kubernetes SW Engineer to design, develop, and scale high-performance software systems supporting distributed computing workloads. This role focuses on building and optimizing solutions that run on HPC on-prem clusters and cloud/on-prem hybrid environments, with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and maintainability. /ppYou will be a key member of the RD team developing next-generation HPC-enabled applications and infrastructure supporting simulation, AI/ML, and data-intensive workloads. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliDesign, develop, and optimize high-performance software systems using C++ and Python for distributed and compute-intensive workloads /liliBuild, deploy, and maintain applications on HPC clusters using workload schedulers (e.g., Slurm, LSF, PBS) /liliArchitect and implement containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes for scalable distributed execution /liliDevelop and optimize software on Linux-based systems, including performance tuning, debugging, and system-level troubleshooting /liliContribute to system design, code reviews, and architectural decisions across distributed systems /liliProfile and improve performance, scalability, and resource utilization of HPC applications /liliCollaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, infrastructure, product) to deliver production-grade solutions /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3pbStrong software development experience in: /b /pulliC++ (performance-critical systems, memory management, multithreading) /liliPython (automation, orchestration, tooling, or data workflows) /liliHands-on experience with HPC clusters, including: /liliJob scheduling systems (e.g., Slurm, LSF, PBS) /liliDistributed workload execution and scaling /liliExperience with containerization and orchestration: /liliDocker for building and packaging applications /liliKubernetes for deployment, scaling, and orchestration /liliStrong Linux expertise, including: /liliShell scripting, debugging, system-level tools (e.g., perf, gdb) /liliPerformance tuning and troubleshooting /liliExperience designing or building distributed or cloud-based systems /liliStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work on complex systems /li /ulh3Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills /h3ulliExperience with JavaScript / TypeScript /liliExperience with Angular (preferred for UI/dashboard development) /liliFamiliarity with: /liulliCloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) /liliNetworking or distributed communication (e.g., gRPC, REST APIs) /liliGPU computing or AI/ML workloads in HPC environments /li /ul /ulh3Education /h3pBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience) /ppKeysight is an Equal Opportunity Employer. /p /p
