Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer

ppJoin Pozyx as a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer and help develop the intelligence behind our next generation of indoor positioning and IoT hardware. From ultra-low-power asset trackers to advanced industrial devices combining multiple wireless technologies, you’ll work on challenging embedded systems together with an experienced team of firmware, hardware, software and algorithm engineers. /p pAs Pozyx continues to extend and improve our product portfolio, we are looking for an experienced firmware developer to join our team in bringing intelligence to our wide range of hardware products for accurate indoor positioning. These products range from small asset trackers with years of battery life to complex industrial devices that communicate with different wireless technologies and perform local computations. In your role you will be flanked by an experienced hardware/firmware team and strong software and algorithms teams who describe the smartest functionalities for each device. /p h3Job Description /h3 ul liYou design firmware architectures for power-constrained ARM-based devices (bare metal or RTOS-based). /li liYou benchmark, test and optimize low-level functionality and power consumption. /li liYou develop test code for hardware validation testing and production test benches. /li liYou peer-review your colleagues' embedded code. /li liYou contribute to hardware design discussions by reviewing schematics and identifying potential firmware integration considerations. /li liYou support hardware bring-up, debugging and validation together with the hardware engineers. /li liYou prepare the required technical documentation and support the release process. /li /ul h3Profile /h3 ul liYou have solid experience in low-level embedded firmware development in C/C++ for resource-constrained ARM Cortex devices. /li liYou have experience with RTOS-based embedded systems. /li liYou are comfortable using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and multimeters for debugging and validation. /li liYou have experience with embedded unit testing, hardware validation and production testing. /li liYou have good communication skills and enjoy collaborating with firmware, hardware and software teams. /li liYou hold a Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering or a related field and have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as an embedded firmware engineer. /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liYou have some experience with digital hardware design or are able to review hardware schematics, and PCB layouts. /li liYou have experience with wireless technologies such as BLE, Wi‑Fi and UWB. /li liYou have experience with Zephyr RTOS and FreeRTOS. /li /ul h3What
