Java Software Engineer

Senior Java Developer | Brussels | Hybrid (2 Days Onsite)

We're looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a high-performing software engineering team delivering enterprise-scale applications. This is a hands-on development role where you'll contribute to the design, development, and delivery of modern software solutions aligned with architectural standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement scalable software solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with architects and development teams to ensure solutions align with the overall technology strategy.
• Participate in technical and code reviews to maintain development quality standards.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and DevOps initiatives to support efficient software delivery.
• Work closely with stakeholders in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality products.
• Support continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.

Required Experience

• 8+ years of experience developing enterprise-level software applications.
• Strong experience building REST APIs and web services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven frontend development experience using Angular.
• Strong understanding of Microservice Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience leading technical workstreams or providing technical leadership within development teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
