ppbDeadline Date: /b Thursday 24 September 2026 /p pbRequirement: /b Senior Cyber Security Specialist – PKI /p pbLocation: /b Mons, BE /p pbFull Time On-Site: /b Yes /p pbTime On-Site: /b 100% /p pbTotal Scope of the request (hours): /b 395 /p pbRequired Start Date: /b 30 October 2026 /p pbEnd Contract Date: /b31 December 2026 /p pbRequired Security Clearance: /b NATO SECRET /p h3Duties Role /h3 pUnder the direction of the Section Head of Cyber Enablement Service (CES) the contractor shall: /p ul liInstall, configure and maintain the day-to-day NATO wide PKI systems and components; /li liInstall, configure and maintain NATO PKI (NPKI) virtualized infrastructure; /li liInstall, configure and maintain NPKI networking components; /li liInstall, configure and maintain NPKI hardware infrastructure; /li liInstall, configure and maintain NPKI LDAP directory service and support HTTP service; /li liResponsible for Enterprise Mobile Mobility configuration, integration, maintenance; /li liResponsible for LDAP directory service configuration and maintenance; /li liResponsible for Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) and Time Stamp management; /li liResponsible for Database maintenance, dedicated for NPKI; /li liResponsible for Card Management System deployment, integration and day-to-day management; /li liResponsible for Hardware Security Module (HSM) firmware upgrade and management; /li liResponsible for the creation of PKI related guidance; /li liCertificate Authority Log analysis, (Troubleshoot the system ALARM/ERRORS and monitor user activity); /li liSupport Smart Card enrolment and certificate creation process; /li liMaintain the day-to-day operations /management /backup/restore of the PKI systems; /li liProvide technical support and assistance to ITM Operating Authorities and NPKI-Mitigation project team; /li liProvide 2nd and 3rd level technical support of CIS services to the NPKI customers; /li liDesigning of new PKI components; /li liResponsible for the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures within the NPKI as part of modifications or additions to current capabilities; /li liDocumenting of all new PKI services; /li liInstallation and maintenance of NPKI components; /li liBe flexible to work outside normal office hours in response to crises, operational requirements; /li liInvestigation of network faults, security incidents and performance issues, including the development and implementation of proposed improvements. /li liSupport to the integration of cyber security tools into existing and future NATO CIS environments. /li liConducting testing, validation and acceptance activities for deployed cyber security capabilities. /li liSupport to the development of technical documentation, including installation guides, configuration baselines, test plans, test reports, standard operating procedures and security hardening guides. /li liProvision of technical advice and recommendations on cyber security architecture, tool configuration, system integration and operational improvements. /li liCoordination with project managers, system engineers, network engineers, security architects and operational stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of cyber security capabilities. /li liEnsuring that implemented solutions comply with applicable NATO security policies, operational requirements and agreed technical standards. /li liSupport to handover to operations, including knowledge transfer, training support and preparation of operational documentation. /li liParticipation in technical meetings, reviews, workshops and coordination activities with NATO, national and industry stakeholders. /li /ul h3Specific Working Conditions /h3 pIf working from a remote location, the contractor shall provide IT equipment for the processing of public and unclassified information in support of their duties, including the capability to participate in video meetings using Microsoft based collaboration tools. /p pThe contractor may be permitted to perform work remotely, from a different NATO nation than the duty location, for up to a maximum of twenty percent (20%) of their total working time, subject to prior approval by their Resource Manager (to which they will be assigned upon contract start) and the Section Head of CES. The contractor may work from their home in the duty location subject to the NCIA teleworking policy and in coordination with the Section Head of CES. /p h3Travel required /h3 pThe contractor may be required to travel to NCIA locations in Belgium for in-person or department meetings. In such cases the contractor will be reimbursed for travel costs according to NATO regulations for traveling on NATO duty. Travel will be required to other NATO and mission-led locations.
