About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Native Platform Engineer to strengthen a DevOps team responsible for the continuous evolution, automation, and optimization of a modern application and platform landscape. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-native platforms and software delivery processes. The focus of this position is on automation, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and improving the reliability, security, and scalability of mission-critical applications. As a senior technical expert, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to architectural decisions, promote knowledge sharing, and drive continuous improvement through DevOps best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain cloud-native platform solutions. Automate infrastructure and application delivery pipelines. Build and optimize CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions. Manage and support Kubernetes-based production environments. Improve platform observability, monitoring, and performance. Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making. Support the reliability, scalability, and security of critical applications. Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to foster a DevOps culture. Drive innovation and continuous improvement across platform engineering practices. Required Skills & Experience Must-Have Minimum 5 years of experience with cloud-native platforms or similar technologies. At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). Proven experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation. Strong experience managing Kubernetes in production environments. Solid knowledge of Grafana for monitoring and observability. Fluent Dutch language skills ( CEFR C2 level ). Preferred Skills Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies. Experience with Prometheus for metrics collection and monitoring. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience. Technical Environment You will work within a modern DevOps ecosystem focused on automation and cloud-native technologies, including: Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Kubernetes GitHub Actions Docker Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Grafana Prometheus CI/CD and Infrastructure Automation What You'll Bring You are a hands-on platform engineer with a strong DevOps mindset and a passion for automation.
