h3Medior WMS Consultant /h3 pLocation: West Flanders, Belgiumbr/Contract: Freelancebr/Start date: ASAPbr/Duration: Long termbr/Working model: 2 days on site /p h3About the role /h3 pOur client, a logistics company in West Flanders, is looking for a Medior Warehouse Management System (WMS) Consultant for a long-term freelance engagement. The consulting team works with customers to analyse warehouse operations, configure WMS solutions and support implementations from the first analysis through to go-live and operational support. /p pYou will analyse warehouse processes and turn operational requirements into WMS configurations and functional specifications. Your work will span implementation projects covering receiving, storage, replenishment, picking, value-added services, cross-docking, shipping, inventory and scanning. /p pYou will stay with customers from analysis through testing, training, go-live and hypercare. The role includes 2 days on site each week, along with customer travel across the Netherlands and Belgium for around 2 days per month. /p h3Main responsibilities /h3 ul liAnalyse warehouse layouts and operational flows across inbound, storage, replenishment, picking, VAS, cross-docking, outbound and inventory control /li liTranslate warehouse requirements into WMS configurations and functional requirements /li liPerform fit-gap analysis and identify configuration options or workarounds /li liPrepare functional specifications where development is required /li liConfigure locations, zones, picking strategies, scanner flows, labels and customer-specific settings /li liCoordinate and execute functional testing against the agreed scope /li liSupport data migration covering items, locations and stock /li liSupport customers through go-live and provide on-site hypercare /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 h3Essential /h3 ul li2+ years of experience on WMS topics /li liExperience analysing warehouse processes and translating them into requirements /li liDutch and English language skills /li /ul h3Desirable /h3 ul liExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Navision /li liFrench language skills /li /ul h3The offer /h3 ul liLong-term freelance engagement /li liStart date: ASAP /li liWest Flanders, Belgium, with 2 days on site /li liCustomer travel across the Netherlands and Belgium, around 2 days per month /li /ul pIf you have solid WMS experience and enjoy taking a customer from the first warehouse walk-through to a stable go-live, this role gives you the full project cycle. /p
