In other words, when we build something, we quickly get to see it live in real conditions. /ph3The role /h3pAs part of our growth, we're looking to strengthen our team with a bSenior Data Engineer /b able to take btechnical ownership of our data platform /b. /ppOur platform currently relies mainly on bGCP, BigQuery, SQLMesh and Python /b. It was initially built with the help of an external partner and now needs to be bfully mastered and operated in-house /b. /ppThe role is therefore particularly important: it's not about starting from a blank page, but about bunderstanding what already exists /b, gradually taking ownership of it, making it more reliable where needed, and evolving the platform in a structured way. /ppThe goal is simple: making sure the data we need is bavailable, reliable, understandable, properly modeled and observable /b when an issue arises. /ppYou'll work closely with the bdata, backend and infrastructure /b teams, in particular on ingestion, modeling, data quality, observability and contracts with source systems. /ph3Your missions /h3pYou will: /pulliTake btechnical ownership /b of our data platform and data warehouse. /liliUnderstand and evolve the bexisting architecture /b and the various data flows. /liliMaintain and improve the bingestion pipelines /b and integrate new sources. /liliEnsure data bfreshness, availability and reliability /b. /liliDesign and maintain the various bmodeling layers /b: ingested data, staging, business models, dimensions, facts and marts. /liliEvolve transformations and models with bSQLMesh /b. /liliSet up and strengthen btests and quality checks /b: uniqueness, nullability, consistency, completeness, freshness, abnormal variations… /liliImplement effective bobservability /b to quickly detect data issues. /lilibInvestigate incidents /b, identify their root cause and get things running again. /liliWork with the backend teams to define sufficiently stable bdata contracts /b and prevent data consumers from depending directly on the internal details of applications. /liliHelp monitor and boptimize the costs /b of the data platform. /liliCollaborate with our bData Analyst /b on analytical needs, usage and the models required by the various consumers. /liliTake part in barchitecture decisions /b and progressively evolve the components /li /ul
