Equipment & Facilities Engineer – Infrared Camera Manufacturing | Greater Leuven Area

For our client, one of Europe's fastest-growing high-tech manufacturing groups, we are looking for an Equipment & Facilities Engineer to support the production of advanced infrared camera systems in Tienen (Greater Leuven Area).

In this role, you will take engineering ownership of production equipment and critical facility systems. You will help ensure that the technology behind the manufacturing process remains reliable, available and ready for further growth.

Your responsibilities
Ensure the availability and reliability of production equipment used in infrared camera manufacturing
Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance
Troubleshoot technical issues and identify sustainable solutions
Monitor and support critical facility systems, including HVAC and vacuum systems
Define spare-parts requirements and help establish an effective inventory
Support maintenance and equipment budget planning
Coordinate suppliers, equipment manufacturers and external service providers
Work closely with Process Engineering and Production to understand processes and improve equipment performance

Your Profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation or a related field
First professional experience with industrial equipment, maintenance, facilities or manufacturing engineering
A practical, hands-on mindset combined with structured engineering skills
Interest in high-tech production environments
Experience with cleanrooms, vacuum technology, HVAC or semiconductor manufacturing is an advantage, but not essential
Good English skills; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage
