RD Advanced Computing is made up of a group of technical engineers and solution architects engaged in the hands-on delivery of business solutions. Team members typically work directly with business partners in delivering solutions. The team prides itself on being closely involved in all aspects of deployments, including assisting with defining business value propositions and user story collections, designing robust solution architectures and implementing the technical solutions. Responsibilities:
/h3ulliBe a key contributor in setting technology strategy/roadmaps, as well as lead and implement technology deployments to business partners in all areas of Digital Imaging, including but not limited to Digital Pathology, Digital Radiology and Clinical Imaging /liliMaintain strong partnerships with business partners in Pre-Clinical Sciences Translational Safety, Oncology, Neuroscience, Immunology, Data Sciences, Molecular Imaging and others based on incoming demand /liliContribute technology expertise to help identify and assess areas of greatest opportunity and impact for Digital Imaging technology platforms in pharmaceutical research and development at Innovative Medicine, and execution of Digital Imaging platform capabilities /liliCollaborate with numerous groups across the IT organization, engage and influence in sector and enterprise technology leadership, as well as partner externally with the Life Sciences industry Imaging community /liliDrive the team's technology stack, including capabilities for scheduling, communication, monitoring, reporting, alerting, deployment, orchestration, configuration management, infrastructure, reuse and reproducibility /liliLeverage the unique capabilities of cloud computing to deliver effective solutions /liliEstablish long term sustainable operational processing and resource models /liliStay abreast of the rapidly changing technology landscape and incorporate technologies such as containerization, serverless and accelerated AI / Machine Learning / Deep Learning / Agentic AI as appropriate to deliver business value /liliDesign and develop generative and agentic AI platforms, including LLM-powered applications, autonomous and multi-agent workflows, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and model orchestration that accelerate digital imaging workflows /liliBuild and operationalize solutions on Cloud (AWS or Azure) using comparable foundation models, establishing reusable patterns for prompt engineering, tool/function calling, agent orchestration, evaluation, and respon
