ph3bAbout Predikt /b /h3 pPredikt is a dynamic Swiss‑Belgian deeptech company at the forefront of innovation, developing cutting-edge AI-driven technology. We are an AI-driven cost margin intelligence platform built for enterprise procurement and finance teams, providing unmatched visibility into external cost drivers and their impact on margins. We empower organizations to navigate market volatility, proactively manage risks, protect profitability and make confident, data-driven decisions. As an early-stage startup, we are fueled by a strong sense of mission and enthusiasm, striving to make cost intelligence accessible to every procurement and finance leader across the globe. /p pAt Predikt, we are defined by our core values and high ambitions. We are a company that champions integrity, innovation and excellence, creating an environment where everyone supports each other and works collaboratively towards common goals. Our customer‑centric approach ensures we deliver exceptional value and service, while fostering a culture of mutual respect, open communication, and continuous improvement. /p pJoin us on this exciting journey as we transform the way procurement and finance teams understand and act on cost and create a future where volatility is no longer a threat, but a challenge every organization is equipped to face with confidence. /p h3About the Role /h3 pYou’ll join a small, fast‑moving engineering team and own features end-to-end — from understanding an ambiguous product problem and shaping the solution to implementation, testing, and rollout. You’ll work closely with product management and our solution architect, while operating with significant autonomy and challenging proposed solutions when the underlying problem calls for a different approach. /p pOur stack includes Python + FastAPI on the backend and Next.js + TypeScript + React on the frontend, supported by an analytics framework for product‑facing forecasting and decision support. Infrastructure support is available; this role is focused on building product capabilities rather than owning the platform. /p pWe’re open to strong mid‑level and senior engineers. We care more about your judgment, ownership, and ability to work across boundaries than a specific number of years. /p pbWhat You’ll Work On /b /p ul lipbForecasting and decision support. /b Translate complex procurement requirements — such as forecasting, hedging, and scenario analysis — into clear domain behavior and useful product features. /p /li lipbEnd‑to‑end feature ownership. /b Design and ship capabilities spanning Python domain logic, services and APIs, and the TypeScript/React interfaces through which customers use them. /p /li lipbProduct and solution shaping. /b Develop a deep understanding of the product and codebase, discuss tradeoffs with product management, and help redefine problems before committing to an implementation. /p /li lipbPragmatic engineering improvement. /b Improve architecture, testing, performance, and maintainability as you ship, balancing long‑term quality with delivery needs. /p /li /ul pbRequirements /b /p ul lipStrong software‑engineering fundamentals and meaningful production experience with Python. Python does not need to be your deepest language, but you must be independently productive in it. /p /li lipProduction experience with TypeScript and React — enough to independently build the frontend portion of a substantial feature. You do not need to be a frontend specialist. /p /li lipEvidence of owning a complex feature across backend and frontend boundaries. /p /li lipAbility to turn ambiguous domain requirements into a maintainable implementation with clear concepts, invariants, edge cases, and tradeoffs. /p /li lipConvincing data reasoning: you can understand transformations and dependencies, question assumptions, and validate correctness without needing to be a data engineer or analyst. /p /li lipHigh ownership and autonomy, with good judgment about when to align with product, architecture, or other specialists. /p /li lipA pragmatic quality mindset: you leave systems better while continuing to deliver. /p /li lipStrong communication and a team‑first attitude. /p /li /ul pbNice to Haves /b /p ul lipExperience with FastAPI, Next.js, or similar frameworks. /p /li lipExperience with forecasting, simulation, optimization, analytical product features, or other decision‑support systems. /p /li lipComfort with SQL or analytical Python tooling. /p /li lipExperience in procurement, finance, supply chain, or another complex enterprise domain. /p /li lipInterest in AI‑enabled product experiences. Prior LLM or agent experience is not required, but there is room to explore it if it interests you. /p /li /ul h3What Makes This Role Different /h3 ul lipThis is a broad software‑engineering role, not a frontend‑specialist position. /p /li lipAnalytics means building reusable product capabilities from complex domain requirements — not ad hoc analysis or ownership
