We are currently looking for a Legal Manager for one of our clients in IT infrastructure.
You will lead the legal function within a dynamic IT consultancy environment where innovation, digitalisation, and customer focus drive organisational success. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing legal policy, overseeing the legal team, managing legal risks, and providing expert guidance on complex legal matters. You will collaborate closely with management, procurement, sales, and delivery teams, as well as external partners, to ensure the organisation operates in a compliant, secure, and contractually robust manner within a competitive digital market. Your work will span contract negotiations, corporate governance, compliance frameworks, and risk mitigation across multiple business functions and geographies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain legal policies and frameworks that align with organisational strategy and regulatory requirementsLead and manage the legal operations, providing guidance, and performance oversightIdentify, assess, and mitigate legal and compliance risks across the organisationDraft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, service agreements, and procurement documentsProvide strategic legal advice to management and business units on corporate law, commercial matters, and data protectionEnsure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standardsManage dispute resolution processes and coordinate with external legal counsel when necessaryOversee corporate housekeeping, including corporate governance, documentation, and statutory complianceSupport procurement processes with legal expertise and contract managementBuild and maintain relationships with external partners, regulators, and stakeholdersCandidate ProfileOur client is looking for an experienced legal professional with a strong foundation in IT law, contract law, and commercial negotiations. You bring a strategic mindset, pragmatic problem-solving approach, and the ability to translate complex legal concepts into actionable business guidance.

Experience & Expertise Required:Master's degree in LawMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in an in-house legal department or law firm environmentStrong expertise in commercial contracting & IT procurementDemonstrated knowledge of compliance frameworks, risk management, and dispute resolutionInterest in and understanding of procurement processes and legal implicationsFluency French & a good command of DutchQualities & Work Approach:Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levelsPragmatic and solution-oriented mindset with a focus on practical outcomesStrategic thinking combined with attention to detail and thoroughnessAbility to work collaboratively across multiple departments and with external partnersAdaptability and resilience in a dynamic, growing organisationStrong ethical standards and commitment to compliance and governanceRole Impact & Success:In this role, you will be instrumental in establishing a robust legal framework that protects the organisation, enables business growth, and supports strategic decision-making.
