This role sits at the intersection of commercial banking and emerging digital asset ecosystems and requires a professional who can architect robust, scalable, and secure technology solutions that bridge traditional banking infrastructure with blockchain networks. /p pThe successful candidate will possess deep expertise in commercial banking operations as well as extensive knowledge of blockchain technologies, digital asset management, and the architectural implications of integrating digital assets within regulated financial institutions. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign and architect end-to-end technical infrastructure solutions supporting digital money initiatives, including stablecoin-related use cases. /li liBridge the gap between commercial banking requirements and blockchain-based digital asset ecosystems. /li liDefine architecture patterns and integration frameworks connecting traditional banking platforms with blockchain networks. /li liAdvise stakeholders on technical considerations related to digital asset custody, settlement mechanisms, wallet infrastructure, and transaction processing. /li liCollaborate closely with business leaders, product teams, compliance functions, security specialists, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures. /li liEvaluate and recommend blockchain platforms, protocols, infrastructure components, and development tooling suitable for commercial banking environments. /li liEnsure architectural designs comply with regulatory, security, resilience, and operational standards. /li liLead technical workshops, architecture reviews, and strategic discussions across cross-functional teams. /li liDevelop architectural roadmaps supporting the adoption of blockchain-enabled financial services. /li liProvide expert guidance on on-chain and off-chain transaction models, interoperability, and integration approaches. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liProven experience as a Technical Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Senior IT Architect within banking, financial services, or a highly regulated environment. /li liDeep understanding of commercial banking operations, products, and processes. /li liStrong expertise in blockchain technologies, distributed ledger technologies (DLT), stablecoins, tokenization, and digital assets. /li liDemonstrated experience designing infrastructure and integration architectures connecting traditional financial systems with blockchain networks. /li liSolid knowledge of digital asset custody models, wallet technologies, key management, and transaction lifecycle management. /li liFamiliarity with regulatory frameworks affecting digital assets and banking, including MiCA, DORA, and related European regulations. /li liStrong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, middleware, and service-oriented architectures. /li liExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills. /li liAbility to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. /li liStrong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience working on digital money, Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), stablecoin, or tokenization initiatives within a financial institution. /li liHands‑on knowledge of enterprise blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda, or similar technologies. /li liExperience with API‑based integration models connecting core banking systems and blockchain infrastructure. /li liUnderstanding of cloud‑native architecture patterns and secure financial services infrastructure. /li liExperience operating within complex regulatory and compliance‑driven environments. /li /ul h3Key Competencies /h3 ul liStrategic Architecture Design /li liBlockchain Digital Assets Expertise /li liCommercial Banking Knowledge /li liEnterprise Integration Architecture /li liRegulatory Security Awareness /li liStakeholder Management /li liCommunication Influencing Skills /li liSolution Design Innovation /li liCross‑Functional Leadership /li /ul h3What
