As an AI Engineer, you'll be joining an exciting company in Kortrijk, building AI-powered solutions for the financial services sector.

Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy

production-grade AI and machine learning models

for financial SaaS applications. Build

Generative AI and LLM-powered solutions

to automate financial workflows, document analysis, knowledge retrieval, and other business processes. Develop AI services and

data pipelines

that integrate seamlessly with cloud-based financial applications. Build and maintain

ETL/ELT pipelines, feature engineering workflows, and data models

supporting AI and analytics use cases. Implement

RAG pipelines, AI agents, and LLM-based applications

for financial and business use cases. Integrate AI models with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and modern software architectures. Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, product managers, and domain experts to take AI solutions

from prototype to production . Apply best practices around

MLOps, model evaluation, monitoring, scalability, security, and responsible AI , particularly in a finance-focused environment.

Your Profile 2–8 years of experience

in AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a similar role. Strong

Python development

skills. Experience building, deploying, and maintaining

production-grade machine learning or AI solutions . Hands-on experience with

Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, RAG, AI agents, recommendation systems, or predictive modelling . Good understanding of

data engineering concepts , including ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, data modelling, feature engineering, and cloud data platforms. Experience working with

financial, transactional, business, or other structured/unstructured data

is a strong advantage. Experience with

Azure, AWS, or GCP , ideally in production environments. Familiarity with technologies such as

Azure OpenAI, Databricks, LangChain, LangGraph, Hugging Face, PyTorch, TensorFlow, MLflow , or similar is an advantage. Understanding of

MLOps and CI/CD

for deploying and monitoring AI solutions is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into practical AI solutions. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Fluent in

English .

with an office presence in

Kontich . Opportunity to build
