A daily rate is available.br/ /ph3Key Responsibilitiesbr/ /h3ulliManage the full vulnerability lifecycle, including identification, assessment, prioritisation, remediation tracking and verification. /liliConduct vulnerability assessments and produce remediation plans, security dashboards and risk reports. /liliCoordinate vulnerability remediation, patching and security updates across infrastructure, cloud and security teams. /liliDeploy, administer and harden Linux, Windows and VMware ESXi environments. /liliConfigure and secure network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches and VPN gateways. /liliDevelop automation scripts using Python and Bash, including API integrations between security platforms and infrastructure tools. /liliImprove the availability, scalability and resilience of cybersecurity infrastructure and services. /liliMonitor security risks, remediation progress and operational KPIs, providing clear reporting to stakeholders. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliStrong experience in cybersecurity engineering and enterprise vulnerability management. /liliAdvanced knowledge of Linux, Windows and VMware ESXi administration and hardening. /liliStrong Python and Bash scripting skills for automation and API integration. /liliSolid understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, firewalls and VPN technologies. /liliExperience securing AWS and Azure cloud environments. /liliHands‑on experience with vulnerability scanning platforms such as Rapid7 Nexpose or Nessus. /liliFamiliarity with Splunk and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira. /liliUnderstanding of hybrid cloud environments, containerised applications and DevSecOps workflows. /liliEU SECRET security clearance will be initiated during on-boarding, if you do not already have clearance. EU nationality is essential. /liliDocker and Kubernetes. /liliMessage brokers such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS or Google Pub/Sub. /liliAdditional programming experience in Java, Go or Rust. /liliCyber threat intelligence and security analytics. /li /ulpAs a freelancer / contractor with us, you will enjoy flexible
