Senior Python Architect (Information Technology/Software) Our client is a leading Software and ICT company operating internationally, providing IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, and research institutes. Role Overview The client has a vacancy for a Senior Python Architect fluent in English, who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out at the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. The successful candidate will integrate with the Development team and closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team.

Full-time Workplace Hybrid Requirements University degree in IT combined with at least 15 years of related professional experience; Minimum 6 years of experience with robust back-end development in Python; Minimum 6 years of experience with ETL workflows for batch and streaming processing, document ingestion, and parsing of multiple formats such as PDF, Docx, and HTML; Minimum 4 years of experience with SQL RDBMS or equivalent (e.
G., PostgreSQL, MySQL); Minimum 4 years of experience with RESTful API design, OpenAPI/Swagger documentation, async and streaming endpoints, production-grade logging and monitoring; Minimum 1 year of experience with Azure Functions, Azure AI Search, and Azure Blob Storage; Minimum 1 year of experience with vector databases and semantic search technologies, such as embedding models, hybrid search algorithms, indexing, and re-ranking techniques; Excellent command of the English language. Responsibilities Analyze the integration of different information systems; Coordinate the implementation of the technical architecture and produce software architecture documents; Design and develop architecture components and building blocks using cloud components; Assist duringtesting, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting.
