As Real Estate Manager, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the Real Estate agenda of Volvo Trucks Belgium & Luxembourg, covering both our wholesale operations and the complete retail Truck Center network.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a key managerial role in ensuring that our property portfolio supports the operational and strategic needs of the business, while establishing a structured, transparent and professional way of managing Real Estate across the organization.
A key part of your mission will be to strengthen governance, create clear processes and ownership, and implement effective systems and ways of working for contracts, requests, projects, suppliers and follow-up activities.
What you will do
- Lead the end-to-end Real Estate and Property Management agenda for Volvo Trucks Belgium & Luxembourg, covering both wholesale operations and the full retail Truck Center network.
- Develop and execute the Real Estate strategy, property portfolio plan and site development priorities in alignment with business needs and Volvo Group principles.
- Establish strong Real Estate governance, with clear ownership, processes, decision-making, escalation paths and structured follow-up across the organization.
- Implement effective systems and ways of managing requests, contracts, commitments, documentation, renewal dates and deadlines, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Lead property transactions and major Real Estate projects, including leasing, negotiations, renewals, acquisitions, divestments, renovations, relocations and infrastructure investments.
- Oversee facilities and property operations across the Belux network, ensuring consistent service delivery, legal and safety compliance, cost efficiency and appropriate site standards.
- Manage Real Estate operating and investment budgets, business cases, suppliers, landlords and service providers, driving strong commercial performance, KPIs and continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with Truck Center Managers, Wholesale functions and the Management Team to translate business needs into pragmatic Real Estate solutions, while driving digitalization, efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
Who are you?
You are a strong and pragmatic leader who enjoys creating structure and clarity in a complex operational environment. You naturally take ownership, follow topics through to completion and are comfortable challenging existing ways of working when better solutions are possible.
You can move easily between strategic discussions and day-to-day operational realities. You understand that successful Real Estate management is not only about buildings and contracts, but also about governance, service to the business, financial discipline and creating reliable ways of working.
You build trust with stakeholders while maintaining clear expectations and accountability, and you are motivated by the opportunity to professionalize and further develop the Real Estate function across Volvo Trucks Belux.
You will bring:
- Solid experience in Real Estate, Property or Facilities Management, ideally in a complex operational environment.
- Experience managing different types of properties, such as offices, workshops, industrial sites or retail locations.
- Strong ability to create structure, clear processes and effective ways of working across multiple requests, contracts, stakeholders and priorities.
- Good knowledge of property contracts, leasing, suppliers, facilities management, projects and budget follow-up.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management, operational teams and external partners.
- A hands‑on and accountable leadership style, with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize, drive topics forward and deliver results.
- Fluency in English, Dutch and French.
- You hold a bachelor's/master's degree or equivalent experience.
What’s in it for you?
- You will work in close collaboration with stakeholders across the organization in an environment that values ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- A competitive salary with an attractive benefits package.
