Your responsibilities
As a Junior Competition Lawyer:
- Assist clients on merger control and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) filings before the European Commission and national authorities.
- Advise on Foreign Subsidies Regulation (FSR) matters.
- Support clients in behavioural competition law matters and antitrust investigations.
- Assist on State aid matters and regulatory procedures.
- Conduct legal research and prepare high-quality legal memoranda and regulatory filings.
- Coordinate with international colleagues on multi-jurisdictional Competition projects.
- Work closely with Partners and senior lawyers to develop tailored legal strategies for clients.
Let's talk about you
- You are qualified to practise in Belgium or are in the process of qualifying.
- You have 1 to 3 years of experience in Competition Law.
- You have experience or a strong interest in merger control, FDI, FSR, investigations and behavioural competition law.
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- You combine strong analytical and drafting skills with a pragmatic and commercial mindset.
- You are organised, proactive, detail-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced international environment.
- You are looking to build a long-term career within a leading international Competition practice.
