Senior Expert for the Datalink Test Facilities

pWe're looking for a senior datalink expert to maintain test facilities and assess ATM communications performance, covering ATN Baseline 1 and future services. /ph3What you'll do /h3ulliMaintain and operate datalink test facilities. /liliPrepare, execute and report interoperability and validation tests. /liliAnalyse monitoring outputs, performance trends and data quality. /liliPrepare technical studies, reports, working papers and specifications. /liliSupport technical exchanges with operational stakeholders. /liliAssess ATS-B2 requirements and future monitoring concepts. /li /ulh3What you bring /h3ulliEight years in ATM, CNS, datalink or related aviation communications. /liliFive years supporting operational datalink stakeholders across at least three categories: ANSPs, airlines, CSPs, OEMs or international ATM organisations. /liliATM operational environments, datalink implementation and network-level operational support. /liliVDL2, Iris SATCOM, ATN/OSI and ATN Baseline 1, including CM, CPDLC and ADS-C. /liliMessage decoding, protocol troubleshooting, state-machine behaviour and interoperability analysis. /liliSoftware development, scripting and automation for datalink analysis and testing. /liliPerformance monitoring, assessment methodologies and applicable ICAO and EUROCAE standards. /liliExperience preparing technical documentation and participating in European ATM working groups. /liliExperience with ATS-B2, CP1/AF6 and future datalink services. /liliUniversity degree in a relevant technical discipline, or demonstrable equivalent experience. /liliEnglish (C1). /li /ulh3Nice to have /h3ulliDatalink testing tools, ATN/OSI routers and CPDLC simulators. /liliSQL, Power BI, monitoring tools and performance reporting. /liliOperational datalink knowledge from pilot and ATCO perspectives. /liliATS-B2 operational concepts and Common Project 1 implementation. /liliPostgraduate specialisation in ATM, communications, networks or systems engineering. /liliFrench (A2 or above). /li /ulh3Good to know /h3ulliOccasional travel within Europe. /li /ul
