Innovation, entrepreneurship, collaboration, and customer focus are at the heart of its success. /ppReporting directly to the Belgian CEO and maintaining a dotted-line relationship with the Group General Counsel, you will play a pivotal role as a trusted legal advisor and business partner while actively contributing to the strategic direction of the Belgian leadership team. /ph3Job Description /h3ulliProvide proactive, pragmatic, and business-oriented legal advice across the organization. /liliDraft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide variety of commercial agreements. /liliAdvise stakeholders on corporate, commercial, regulatory, compliance, and operational matters. /liliSupport legal matters relating to GDPR, competition law, corporate governance, real estate, litigation, procurement, IT, and digital activities. /liliDevelop and maintain compliance frameworks, policies, and governance processes. /liliMonitor Belgian and European regulatory developments impacting the business. /liliPartner closely with commercial, HR, supply chain, procurement, and leadership teams. /liliAct as a trusted business partner by translating legal risks into actionable business solutions. /liliParticipate in Executive Committee meetings, documenting key decisions, actions, ownership, and timelines. /liliCoordinate with external counsel and international legal teams when required. /li /ulh3The Successful Applicant /h3ulliBelgian Master's degree in Law. /liliMinimum 5 years of experience as Legal Counsel or Lawyer /liliStrong knowledge of Belgian commercial and contract law. /liliExperience in compliance, GDPR, corporate governance, and risk management is considered a strong asset. /liliProject management experience within a fast-paced B2B environment is advantageous. /liliFluent in Dutch French /liliCommercially minded with strong business acumen. /liliExcellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities. /liliPragmatic approach to legal issues. /liliStrong interpersonal and emotional intelligence. /li /ulh3What's on Offer /h3ulliPermanent contract /liliCompetitive salary package. /liliCompany car /liliGroup insurance. /liliHospitalization, dental, and life insurance. /liliMeal vouchers. /liliHybrid working environment with flexibility. /liliExtensive training opportunities through internal and external academies. /li /ul /p
