- and vendor-agnostic, and you see the whole data landscape instead of a single vendor's corner of it. You combine deep technical expertise with a consulting mindset: you think long-term, make decisive choices, and explain the why behind them to everyone from engineers to C-level. /p h3What you’ll do /h3 ul liThink along with business stakeholders to understand their goals, challenges and constraints. /li liTranslate business and functional requirements into clear, end-to-end data solution designs and architecture schemas. /li liRefine those designs together with data and application specialists into concrete, plannable work. /li liZoom out to see the bigger picture and make architecture decisions in the client's best interest, independent of any single vendor. /li liJudge when to engage a specific platform or vendor and when to step back and run a market evaluation (build vs. buy, selecting the right data platform for the need). /li liMake and document architecture decisions, balancing scalability, security, performance, cost and data quality. /li liDesign API-driven and integration approaches across applications, services, data sources and third-party systems. /li liSafeguard non-functional requirements and data governance throughout the project lifecycle. /li liTranslate complex technical topics into clear language for business and C-level stakeholders. /li liIdentify technical risks and dependencies early, and propose pragmatic mitigations. /li /ul h3Who we're looking for /h3 ul liA strong architect with sharp execution skills and a healthy dose of pragmatism. /li li7+ years of experience in data engineering and/or architecture, with a solid track record in a data solution or technical architect role. /li liTechnology
- and vendor-agnostic by instinct: broad familiarity across the landscape (data platforms, data lakes, cloud providers, warehouses, integration) without being tied to a single vendor. /li liAble to zoom out, weigh build vs. buy, and run a market evaluation when the situation calls for it. /li liStrong command of data architecture, integration patterns and API-driven design. /li liAble to think along with business stakeholders and refine solutions with data and application specialists into plannable work. /li liExcellent communication
