Senior SAP FC Consultant – Data Migration – Freelance
Location: Brussels, Belgium

About the role
Our client, an organisation in the insurance sector, is running an SAP Financial Consolidation (SAP FC) implementation and needs a senior technical consultant to support it. The role centres on data migration, and suits a freelancer who has already worked on SAP FC implementation projects and understands what it takes to move financial consolidation data accurately.
You will manage and execute the data migration activities, analysing source data, data structures and mapping requirements, then validating the migrated data and investigating any data quality issues. You will also support testing, reconciliation and validation of the financial consolidation data, so the numbers can be trusted when the new environment goes live.
The work involves close contact with both business and technical stakeholders to define migration requirements, and you will help resolve issues relating to SAP FC and the migration as they arise. Experience with OneStream is an advantage, and previous experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
Main responsibilities
- Support the implementation of SAP Financial Consolidation (SAP FC)
- Manage and execute data migration activities as part of the implementation
- Analyse source data, data structures and mapping requirements
- Validate migrated data and investigate data quality issues
- Support testing, reconciliation and validation of financial consolidation data
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to define migration requirements
- Support the resolution of issues relating to SAP FC and data migration
Requirements
Essential
- Extensive knowledge of SAP Financial Consolidation (SAP FC)
- Proven experience with SAP FC implementation projects
- Experience with data migration in an SAP FC environment
Desirable
- Experience with OneStream
- Experience in the insurance industry
