Whether it's a Friday-night feast, a post-gym poke bowl, or grabbing some groceries, our tech platform connects tens of millions of customers with hundreds of thousands of restaurant, grocery and convenience partners across the globe. /ppAbout this role: /ppAs a member of the Employee Relations Team, you will provide high-quality, efficient, and timely service to all stakeholders on employee relation matters, including performance management, disciplinary matters, accommodations, dispute resolution, whistleblowing investigations, sickness management, and return to work coordination while ensuring the execution and enforcement of fair and consistent application of workplace policies and processes. /ppYou will manage and foster positive relationships between employees and the organisation, mediate disputes, conduct investigations, and guide both employees and management. Working within a global team, you will gain valuable international exposure while focusing on the Belgium context at first, with opportunities to support additional countries later on. Ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies, you will contribute to a fair, consistent, and harmonious work environment. /ppThese are some of the key ingredients to the role: /pulliApply employment standards and labour laws for legal compliance ensuring accurate validation of country specific regulations /liliResponding to employee inquiries through the People Service Portal (JIRA system) and other channels, identifying needs, and escalating issues, as the needs arise. /liliMaintaining a strong commitment to our service level agreements (SLAs) around responsiveness and employee satisfaction. /liliMaintain quality standards of content and information as it relates to Employee Relations guidelines, policies, and procedures /liliManage internal People policies and update policies to reflect localisation requirements /liliInternal investigations for local cases and whistleblower cases /liliEstablish meaningful relationships and communication within the People Services teams and between teams across departments assigned /liliCollaborating closely with the legal teams to validate and escalate cases when appropriate /liliCollaborate with HR Business Partners to provide comprehensive employee support, handling Tier 2 tasks, while directing Tier 3 issues to HRBPs for effective resolution. /liliGuide and coach managers (with different levels) on disciplinary and non-disciplinary actions, terminations, and employment standards; support with documentation and best practices /liliFamiliarity with social negotiation bodies context. /liliDevelop business acumen for departmental support /li /ulpWhat will you bring to the table? /pulliPost secondary education in Human Resources, Psychology, or similar. /liliWe are looking for a mid-level professional with HR experience, including at least 1 year of specialised focus on Employee Relations. /liliExperience managing internal investigations demonstrated ability to maintain high-quality content for Employee Relations guidelines and policies. /liliExperience in guiding managers on employment-related actions. /liliEffective collaboration skills with People Services teams for case validation and escalation management. /liliPartnership capabilities with Works Councils and on employee-related matters and escalations would be a strong plus. /liliAttention to detail in ensuring consistency and accuracy of information in HR Systems /liliLanguages: business level in either French or Dutch, fluent English. /liliProven ability to research and apply employment standards and labour laws. /li /ulpOur offerbrLike a perfectly balanced recipe: your skills and our offer are a great match With us, you can count on: /ppA competitive salary package. /ppHybrid working: three days per week in the office in Brussels and two days from home. /ppTravel allowance: 100% reimbursement for public transport or a mileage allowance for travel by car or bicycle. /ppOn-site gym: for a small fee, you can use our office gym in Brussels to relax and keep a clear mind in your daily life. /ppJET Pay Allowance: a monthly credit of €90, with a maximum of €9 per day, so you can order the most delicious meals. /ppPension scheme: JET contributes to your pension through an employer contribution. /ppHolidays: based on a full-time contract, you'll receive 20 vacation days and 12 additional ADV days. /ppA diverse and inclusive organisation with colleagues from more than 99 countries, and the opportunity to join our various employee communities. /ppPlenty of learning opportunities through our Learning Hub, Bookboon, internal training, and online English courses. /ppThe best events: drinks, team outings, a
