Nexeo is currently looking for an experienced Director of Fulfilment / FTTH Customer Installations to join one of Belgium's leading telecom companies.
In this strategic leadership role, you will support Wyre's rapidly expanding Customer Installation and Service Delivery organization, ensuring operational excellence across both existing coax services and the large-scale Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) deployment.
You will lead operational teams, drive continuous improvement, establish governance and bring structure to a fast-growing environment while collaborating with internal departments, wholesale customers and external partners.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and coach Service Delivery Managers, ensuring clear ownership, accountability and prioritization across operations.
- Oversee the daily execution of customer installation and fulfilment activities.
- Build governance, structure and visibility across a rapidly evolving operational environment.
- Drive operational excellence by identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Monitor operational performance, workloads and KPIs to proactively resolve bottlenecks.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, IT, Wholesale customers and external partners.
- Improve tools, processes and operating models to support future growth.
- Support strategic initiatives while remaining hands-on in operational decision-making.
- Assess resource needs and contribute to workforce planning and future hiring strategies.
- Lead change initiatives and ensure business readiness during organizational transformation.
- Act as a trusted senior leader capable of delivering results independently in a dynamic environment.
Your Profile
- Extensive experience in Service Delivery, Fulfilment or Operations Leadership.
- Proven experience managing large operational teams in complex and fast-paced environments.
- Strong background in operational governance, process optimization and organizational transformation.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with internal teams, customers and external partners.
- Strong leadership and coaching capabilities.
- Ability to create structure and drive execution in rapidly changing organizations.
- Analytical mindset with excellent prioritization and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end operational processes, systems and tooling.
- Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of strategic initiatives.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Willing to work primarily on-site in Mechelen.
Nice to Have
- Experience within the Telecommunications industry.
- Knowledge of FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) deployment and customer installation operations.
- Experience with wholesale customer environments.
- Previous involvement in large-scale transformation or change management programs.
