pFull time, Freelance or Permanent Contract /p pbActive NATO Security Clearance Required (Fully Cleared) /b /p h3About WESTPOLE /h3 pAt WESTPOLE, we design, implement and manage business-critical IT environments for customers operating in highly secure and demanding contexts. We are currently looking for an experienced bSystem Engineer /b to reinforce our infrastructure team supporting mission-critical operations. /p pThis role is reserved for professionals who already hold an active NATO security clearance and are eligible to work within classified environments. /p h3Your Mission /h3 pAs a System Engineer, you will be responsible for the operation, administration, maintenance and support of complex infrastructure environments. You will play a key role in ensuring the availability, security and performance of critical systems while adhering to strict security and operational procedures. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ulliOperate, administer and maintain highly available physical, virtual, storage and networking infrastructure. /liliSupport backup, restore and disaster recovery activities. /liliPerform operating system and infrastructure patching. /liliDiagnose and resolve infrastructure incidents. /liliReview and implement approved infrastructure changes and upgrades. /liliMaintain documentation, procedures and technical runbooks. /liliContribute to audits, reporting activities and compliance requirements. /liliEnsure compliance with security procedures, privileged access controls and segregation of duties principles. /li /ul h3Required Experience Skills /h3 pMinimum 4 years of experience in IT Infrastructure or System Engineering /p pStrong expertise in enterprise infrastructure environments like: /p ulliWindows Server and Linux Server administration /liliVMware vSphere / ESXi /liliTCP/IP networking, VLANs, DNS, routing and firewall concepts /liliActive Directory and Group Policy /liliBackup and recovery solutions /liliPatch management and system hardening /liliSAN storage technologies, RAID and capacity management /liliInfrastructure monitoring and management tools /liliAnti-virus and anti-malware platforms and EDR forensic solutions /li /ul pProfessional level English (C1/C2) /p pBachelor's degree or equivalent experience /p h3Nice to Have /h3 ulliPowerShell scripting or infrastructure automation /liliVulnerability management and remediation processes /liliITIL-based incident, problem and change management practices /li /ul h3What We Are Looking For /h3 ulliStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills /liliAbility to work under pressure in critical environments /liliExcellent team collaboration capabilities (internal and customer facing) /liliClear communication non-technical stakeholders /liliAttention to detail and security-minded approach /li /ul h3Mandatory Security Requirement /h3 pThis position requires an active NATO security clearance.
