pWe're supporting a leading financial institution based in Antwerp that is making significant investments in Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. As part of a major growth initiative, they're expanding their data team and looking for talented Data Engineers who want to work on modern data platforms, AI-driven solutions, and cutting-edge information retrieval technologies. /ppThis is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing team and help build a highly scalable internal data platform from the ground up. /ppbLanguage: /b English required, Dutch highly advantageous /ph3What you'll be doing /h3ulliDesigning and developing scalable data products and modern data pipelines /liliBuilding data solutions that support reporting, analytics, and AI applications /liliWorking with RAG architectures, embeddings, vector search, and information retrieval technologies /liliDeveloping AI-powered solutions and automation capabilities /liliCreating robust ETL/ELT pipelines and data models /liliImplementing data quality and validation processes /liliCollaborating closely with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders /liliContributing to the evolution of a strategic enterprise-wide data platform /li /ulh3What we're looking for /h3ulli4+ years' experience as a Data Engineer /liliStrong Python and SQL skills /liliExperience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines /liliCommercial experience with AI technologies /liliExperience working with APIs and multiple data sources /liliStrong understanding of data modelling and data architecture /li /ulh3Highly desirable /h3ulliExperience with Vector Search, Embeddings, RAG, or Information Retrieval solutions /liliElasticsearch or Vector Database experience /liliApache Airflow or workflow orchestration tools /liliOpportunity to help build a greenfield data platform /liliSignificant investment in Data AI initiatives /liliStrong executive sponsorship and visibility /liliTeam set to more than double in size over the coming year /liliFlat organisational structure with fast decision-making /liliExposure to modern AI technologies and real-world use cases /liliLong-term permanent opportunity with excellent career progression /liliCompetitive salary package /liliCompany car or mobility budget /liliNet monthly allowance /liliHospitalisation and outpatient insurance /liliStock option plan /liliMobile phone and subscription /liliAround 34 days annual leave /liliFree daily meals on-site /liliAdditional employee discount platform benefits /li /ul
