ph3How do you help make a difference? /h3 pAs a Technical Architect within Integration Services of Infrastructure team, you play a key role in shaping and evolving the organization’s integration landscape. You are responsible for driving the technical vision, governance, and continuous improvement of integration technologies, ensuring they meet current and future business needs. /p pYou work across a diverse ecosystem of integration platforms, including message brokers, event streaming, API management, and managed file transfer solutions (e.g., MQ, Kafka, Axway, AMQP Broker, API Platform). /p pReporting to the Team lead of Integration Services /p h3What is your role at SNCB? /h3 pAs a Technical Architect you will take on the following

key responsibilities
/p h3Architecture Strategy /h3 ul liDefine and maintain the btarget architecture /b for Integration Services. /li liDesign and evolve bintegration building blocks /b to support business projects. /li liMaintain and update btechnology roadmaps /b for both existing and emerging integration solutions. /li liEnsure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and long-term IT strategy. /li /ul h3Technology Evolution Innovation /h3 ul liResearch, evaluate, and recommend bnew integration technologies /b and patterns. /li liSupport the bevolution of existing platforms /b (e.g., performance, scalability, security improvements). /li liDrive adoption of modern integration paradigms such as event-driven architecture and API-first design. /li /ul h3Governance Processes /h3 ul liContribute to and improve binternal processes and standards /b within Integration Services. /li /ul h3Delivery Support /h3 ul liSupport project teams in selecting and implementing appropriate integration solutions. /li liCollaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure robust solutions. /li /ul h3Continuous Improvement /h3 ul liIdentify opportunities to boptimize integration services /b and reduce complexity. /li liEnhance breusability and standardization /b of integration components. /li liMonitor industry trends and incorporate relevant innovations. /li /ul h3Why is this job a good fit for you? /h3 h3Technical Expertise /h3 ul liAt least 5 years of relevant experience as Technical Architect /li li ul liStrong experience with integration technologies such as: /li liMessaging systems (e.g., MQ, AMQP) /li liEvent streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka) /li liAPI management platforms (e.g., Axway Amplify) /li liManaged file transfer tools (e.g., Sterling) /li /ul /li li ul liSolid understanding of: /li liIntegration patterns (request/reply, pub/sub, event-driven) /li liMicroservices and distributed systems /li liSecurity protocols (OAuth, TLS, etc.) /li /ul /li liExperience with cloud and hybrid integration architectures is a plus /li liExperience in Infrastructure as Code and Kubernetes is a plus /li /ul h3Architecture Design /h3 ul liProven experience in bsolution and/or enterprise architecture /b /li liAbility to design bscalable, resilient, and maintainable integration solutions /b /li liFamiliarity with architecture frameworks and modeling techniques /li /ul h3Soft Skills /h3 ul liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills /li liAbility to influence and guide stakeholders across teams /li liExcellent communication and documentation skills /li liProactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement /li liGood knowledge of English and Dutch or French (preferably with at least a passive knowledge of the second language) /li /ul pEveryone is unique.
