I am currently looking for a Functional Analyst to join a large-scale digital transformation programme within a major public sector organisation in Belgium.
This is an opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives that support critical public services, collaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams, architects and project managers in a complex enterprise environment.
What you'll be doing
- Gathering, analysing and challenging business requirements
- Translating business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories
- Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and development teams
- Supporting solution design and validating proposed functional solutions
- Working closely with Agile delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Facilitating workshops, requirements sessions and stakeholder discussions
- Supporting testing activities and ensuring business requirements are met
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Functional Analyst in complex IT environments
- Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills
- Experience writing functional analyses, specifications and user stories
- Good understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of analysis activities
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Previous experience within the Belgian public sector xirbnpk is considered a strong advantage
Language Requirements
- Native Dutch or native French
- Professional English
- Trilingual candidates are highly valued
