Are you open to a Senior Cloud & Enterprise Architect opportunity focused on AWS/Azure, IAM, Cloud Landing Zones, and Enterprise Architecture in Belgium?We are looking for a Senior Cloud & Enterprise Architect to support large-scale digital transformation initiatives and the modernization of enterprise infrastructure and cloud environments.
You will play a strategic role in defining enterprise architecture, strengthening cloud foundations, and consolidating identity and access management across complex, multi-cloud environments.
The ideal candidate combines strong enterprise architecture expertise with hands-on experience in AWS, Azure, IAM, cloud foundations, infrastructure, governance, and IT security.
RoleEnterprise Identity & Access ManagementDesign and plan the multi-phase consolidation of disparate legacy and multi-cloud Identity Providers into a centralized IAM framework.
Define enterprise identity architectures covering SSO, IdP integration, federation, and Zero Trust access policies.
Unify fragmented and multi-tenant access models into a coherent enterprise identity architecture.
Reduce authentication friction, security risks, and administrative overhead through standardized IAM solutions.
Cloud Foundations & GovernanceArchitect and oversee the implementation of production-ready Cloud Landing Zones.
Establish foundational controls for security, networking, governance, and compliance across AWS and Azure.
Align cloud deployments with enterprise Cloud Foundation principles and standards.
Define and promote standardized Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) approaches.
Support automated compliance, governance, shared services, and cloud operating models.
Enterprise ArchitectureDefine high-availability, hybrid-cloud, and multi-cloud architecture strategies.
Ensure technology architectures are aligned with business objectives and enterprise standards.
Produce architecture models, roadmaps, principles, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud, application, and business stakeholders.
Translate complex technical requirements into pragmatic and scalable architecture solutions.
ProfileMandatory requirementsMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect ExpertMinimum 5 years of experience as an Infrastructure Architect / Enterprise Architect.
Proven experience designing and/or implementing IAM solutions in environments with at least 1,000 users.
Proven experience designing and/or implementing AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
Proven experience with production-ready Cloud Landing Zones.
At least one project completed within the last 5 years involving the design and/or deployment of a production-ready Cloud Landing Zone within the utility sector.
Strong experience in ICT infrastructure and cloud platforms.
Proven knowledge of architecture modelling techniques, such as:ArchiMateTOGAFUMLSparx Enterprise Architect (Sparx EA)or equivalent methodologies/tools.
Proven experience with IT security and secure infrastructure architecture.
Fluent in English.
Fluent in French or Dutch, with at least B1 passive knowledge of the other national language.
