About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Developer / Application Architect to join a dynamic development team working on business-critical applications. In this role, you will act as the technical authority , shaping the architectural direction and elevating development standards. You will balance innovation with stability while contributing hands-on to the development of robust and scalable applications. Your Responsibilities Define and guide architecture decisions across backend (.
NET/C#) and frontend (Angular or Blazor) Act as a technical lead and mentor , coaching developers and promoting best practices Develop and maintain high-quality, business-critical applications Improve and optimize the software development lifecycle (tools, workflows, standards) Collaborate closely with analysts, testers, and project managers Drive adoption of modern technologies , including AI-assisted development Ensure clean code, performance, and scalability across solutions
Your Profile
Must-Have Minimum 5 years' experience in application development Strong expertise in .
NET / C# Solid experience with Angular (or similar frontend frameworks) Experience as an Application Architect or technical lead Proven experience in Agile development environments Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) Strong hands-on experience in coding, testing, and debugging Dutch proficiency at CEFR level C2 Nice to Have Experience with Blazor Knowledge of API Gateway solutions (e.g. Kong) Experience with OpenShift or container platforms Familiarity with AI tools in development (e.g. Claude) Experience with SQL and database design Experience with Bitbucket Proven experience in team leadership and coaching What's in It for You Take a leading role in architectural decision-making Work on impactful, business-critical applications Be part of a forward-thinking team embracing innovation and AI Opportunity to mentor and grow development teams Flexible hybrid working model Additional Information Freelance assignment under framework agreement Full-time engagement Hybrid work setup Long-term opportunity with possible extensions
