Flexibility works both ways, taking account of team needs and urgent matters. /li /ul h3bWhat your future may hold /b /h3 pReporting to the Head of Risk Compliance, you will help implement the firm’s strategy while ensuring reliable day-to-day execution. Your workload will range from routine conflict checks to complex risk assessments and cross-office discussions. /p pYour responsibilities include: /p ul liContributing to the implementation and execution of the firm’s bRisk Compliance strategy, /bincludingthe implementation of Intapp, bthe compliance client onboarding tool /b. Building expertise in the platform and become a key contact for its use within the team. /li liExecuting bday-to-day compliance checks and processes /b, including client onboarding, conflicts of interest, KYC/AML, DAC6, market abuse, GDPR and international sanctions /li liProviding bstructured analysis of potential risks /b and contributing to appropriate mitigation strategies /li liPreparing and delivering structured breporting /b on compliance matters to relevant stakeholders /li liActing as a bsenior point of reference /b within the team, providing guidance and bsupporting the supervision of team activities /b /li liDelivering btraining /b and awareness initiatives /li liCollaborating with Risk Compliance colleagues and other relevant stakeholders in bStibbe’s Luxembourg and Amsterdam offices /b /li libWorking /bclosely with the Head of Risk Compliance and other stakeholders to ensure consistent and efficient execution of the firm’s compliance framework. /li /ul pYou will build your understanding of the regulatory requirements specific to a law firm and establish trusted relationships with the team, partners and lawyers. As the function evolves, you may also interact directly with clients. /p h3bYour /b bskillset /b /h3 ul liYou hold a Master’s degree in Law and have at least four years of relevant experience in a legal and/or compliance environment. /li liYou have solid, practical knowledge of AML/KYC. You can take ownership of daily compliance work while developing expertise in the wider regulatory framework applicable to law firms. /li liYou are familiar with the implementation of compliance client onboarding tools (e.g. Intapp or similar platforms). /li liYou are process-minded, with strong attention to detail and the ability to improve and structure workflows. /li liYou combine a hands-on approach with a sense of ownership and accountability. /li liYou have strong analytical and organisational skills. /li liYou demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling you to interact confidently with lawyers and business professionals. /li liYou are proactive and solution-oriented. /li liYou are motivated to keep learning and build a long-term career in compliance.
