IC Design Digital Team Manager

ppWe are looking for an IC Design Digital Team Manager to work on image sensor designs and architectures in our Brussels location. /p pThis leadership position is part of an advanced technology team which is enabling the next generation of image sensors. /p pThe successful candidate will bring his deep knowledge and proven experience in sensor design to yield the highest quality of first silicon success. /p pYour main focus will be to manage the IC Design Digital team. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 pYour role will be to focus on managing the IC digital design team and to achieve quality and deliverables in time. The responsibility of the team covers the full lifecycle of a typical IC project from design feasibility phase to support reaching mass production, including specifications, design, verification and evaluation. /p pAs Team Manager, you will be responsible for the following matters: /p ul liAccountability of your team: together with the project leader, you will be responsible for technically coaching and assisting your team members assigned to each CTQ project and to deliver tasks with the right quality and timing as expected from the project description. /li liDefine, execute and follow-up on the roadmap and developments. /li liManage the risk in your team operation through monitoring, assessment and mitigation phases. /li liContribute to problem solving with your team. Drive flow and methodology improvements to maximize the efficiency of your team. /li liDefine, implement and maintain the necessary tools to support the activities of your team. /li liManagement of the team members: plan the assignment of the team members, manage the competences inside the team, evaluate the performance, and also handle hiring when needed. /li liCo-operation with the other SDS teams in context of the project and establishing the mid-range plans. /li liIn-depth collaboration with the relevant Sony teams in Europe and Japan, including traveling. /li liInnovation: Within the scope of activities of your team and aligned with continuous competence management and improvements/learnings, you will also be attentive to promote and stimulate innovation in your team. /li liBudget tracking: control the budget for the Team you manage and the projects you run, according to budget estimates that were set during Fiscal Year Plans and Mid-Range Plans. /li /ul pDuring the execution of your tasks, you will regularly follow-up and report status-updates to the IC Design Center Director. /p h3Qualifications /h3 h3Education: /h3 ul liMaster degree in Electrical Engineering, Micro-Electronic Engineering, Physics /li liPhD in relevant domain, or similar by experience, is an asset. /li /ul h3Experience: /h3 ul liYou have more than 15 years’ experience in the IC digital design domain. Previous experience in a team leading position with minimum 3 years in such a role is required. /li liExperience in CMOS image sensor product development is a plus. /li /ul h3Knowledge: /h3 ul liGood knowledge on IC Digital design, knowledge or experience in the domain of architectures of sensors is a plus. /li liMethodologies and Tools for IC Logic Design and Test /li liRD development process flow of IC sensors /li liQMS knowledge and practical experience with ISO 9001 in context of IC design. Knowledge about other Cybersecurity standard (ISO21434) is an added value. /li liQuality tools, such as problem solving techniques, failure analysis methods, process improvement methods,… /li liGood knowledge of office software tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) /li /ul h3Competences/personality: /h3 ul liAble to set direction and objectives for a team and individuals and to assess the progress. /li liStrong commitment to deliver quality by yourself and with your team. /li liAble to work independently and as part of a team. /li liMotivated to work in an international RD environment. /li liAble to quickly adapt to new situations / technologies. /li liPassionate about technology and innovations, creative. /li liAnalytical mind, structured and rigorous approach, with a sense for detail. /li liFluent in English, enjoys being the team’s spokesperson. /li /ul /p
