About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated UX Analyst to help create intuitive, accessible, and user-centered digital experiences. In this role, you will conduct user research, analyze user behavior, evaluate design effectiveness, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive evidence-based design decisions. You will play a key role in ensuring products and services meet user needs while adhering to industry standards and accessibility requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and motivations.
- Analyze web analytics and UX metrics to identify trends and generate actionable insights.
- Plan and conduct usability testing based on human-centered design principles.
- Develop and administer surveys, interviews, and feedback collection activities.
- Create user personas, customer journey maps, and task flows to support user-centered design.
- Perform heuristic evaluations and identify usability issues using established UX principles.
- Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to translate research insights into product improvements.
- Conduct A/B testing to evaluate design alternatives and optimize user experiences.
- Develop and maintain UX guidelines, standards, and best practices.
- Continuously gather user feedback and support iterative product improvements.
- Coach and mentor teams on UX methodologies and user-centered design practices.
- Ensure accessibility compliance with standards such as WCAG 2.2, EN 301 549, and the European Accessibility Act (EAA).
- Maintain a centralized research repository and ensure compliance with privacy and consent requirements. Required Qualifications
- Experience as a UX Analyst, UX Researcher, UX Consultant, Digital Communications Specialist, or similar role.
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing UX projects across multiple industries.
- Strong knowledge of UX research methodologies, including usability testing, surveys, interviews, and A/B testing.
- Experience with user journey mapping, task flows, wireframing, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Familiarity with web technologies and standards, including HTML, CSS, XML, SEO, analytics, and accessibility.
- Experience with UX/UI and prototyping tools such as:
- Figma
- Sketch
- Adobe XD
- Axure
- Balsamiq
- Adobe Creative Suite Accessibility & Standards Knowledge
- Strong understanding of:
- WCAG 2.2
- EN 301 549
- European Accessibility Act (EAA)
- ISO 9241-210 Human-Centred Design Principles Certifications (Preferred / Mandatory for Mid-Level Roles) One of the following certifications or equivalent:
- Certified Usability Analyst (CUA)
- Certified User Experience Analyst (CXA)
- Nielsen Norman Group (NN/g) UX Certification
- Certified Professional in User Experience (CPUX)
- Google UX Design Professional Certificate
- Akendi UX Certification Key Skills
- Strategic stakeholder management and ability to articulate the business value of UX.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence decision-making through evidence-based recommendations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Results-oriented mindset focused on delivering measurable outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Commitment to UX quality standards and continuous improvement.
- Ability to participate in multilingual environments.
- Language: Fluent in English & one of French or Dutch.
